SVCI was recently contracted by a local law enforcement agency to repurpose a fully armored transport van, into an emergency medic and evac transport. After removing the stock seating, custom racks were engineered and fabricated to fit into the vehicle without compromising the vehicle armor plating. Storage for oxygen cylinders as well as placement for hanging IV bags are part of the design.
Fold up jump seats allow emergency medics a place to safely ride, while still having enough room to care for patients while in transport. Interior lighting was upgraded with efficient LED’s as well.
In the unfortunate event that an officer is injured and pinned down in the line of duty, this armored medic transport will allow officers the ability to drive into a compromising situation to safely extract personnel in need of medical attention.
